The All-Heart Agnostics and Atheists Triangle Chapter
|
Welcome fellow Agnostics, Atheists, Humanists and other Freethinkers! This group will be a home for anyone in the Triangle area who doesn't practice a particular religion but recognizes the important role that religion plays in modern society. We welcome Atheist, Agnostic, Humanist and open-minded Deist brothers and sisters who agree that reason, compassion and free will are more important than obedience to religious institutions or religious dogma as a foundation for a moral and ethical society. While freethinkers may disagree on some finer points of our "atheology," I believe our interests and goals are very much the same, and our differences will offer opportunities for good discussions. With luck, we'll make some new friends, have some fun, learn something, do some good and maybe even change some minds along the way! "The more the fruits of knowledge become accessible to men, the more widespread is the decline of religious belief." "My country is the world, and my religion is to do good."
