We are a group for atheists, agnostics, free-thinkers, and secularists who wish to join together for rational discussions, and socializing. Our goals are the advancement of science, logic and reason, separation of church and state, the overall advancement of secular ideas, and positive contribution to the community.

We are the largest and most active group of atheists, agnostics, skeptics, freethinkers, humanists, and other nonbelievers in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC area. This group is a safe place to meet and socialize with other nonbelievers in a supportive environment. Inspired by my experience at the TSC Conference, I decided to start this group in hope of extending the conversation to the Triangle area. I have been developing a conceptual framework which addresses issues such as the Explanatory Gap and Hard Problem of Consciousness.
