Freethinkers, Agnostics, Atheists & Secularists of the Triangle (FAAST) is a social group made up of the non-religious residents of the Triangle region of North Carolina. Inspired by my experience at the TSC Conference, I decided to start this group in hope of extending the conversation to the Triangle area. I have been developing a conceptual framework which addresses issues such as the Explanatory Gap and Hard Problem of Consciousness. The purpose of the group is to foster a community for those of us who are interested in helping to build a contemporary understanding of consciousness.
