Welcome to the Long Island branch of the Center for Inquiry (CFI), a nonprofit organization advancing science, reason, and secular values. The Center for Inquiry-Long Island sponsors public educational programs, philosophy discussions, book clubs, and social events. I propose a community of people who are interested in stuff, who would share the ideas and works that inspire them, who would take from others new thoughts and perspectives. If there's an interest in such a forum that is live, personal, and free of ideological agenda, such a community is possible.
